French-Canadian network to air six games
For a fourth consecutive season, soccer fans will be able to follow the Montreal Impact's activities on the Réseau des Sports (RDS) as six regular season games will be broadcast on the French-language network in 2005.
Lynx announce local TV package
The Toronto Lynx and Rogers Television announced today the Lynx local television schedule for the upcoming season. The partnership includes TV coverage of nine home games with the possibility of additional games as the season progresses.
Whitecaps add weekly highlight show
TVNW Media Group has been appointed by the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Canada’s best-known soccer club, to produce a weekly program of game highlights and features for broadcast on CityTV, the Vancouver-based channel of the CHUM network, one of Canada’s leading broadcasters.

The Seattle Sounders and Comcast today announced that 10 Sounder home matches would be available through Comcast ON DEMAND beginning with the Sounders home opener against the Portland Timbers on April 30th.

The Whitecaps FC in conjunction with Rogers Sportsnet and TVNW Media Group announced a partnership today to produce a Whitecaps weekly program that will air throughout the 2004 season. The program kicks off on Tuesday, May 4th at 1:00pm PST and runs for 18 weeks, with provisions for additional programming if the Whitecaps qualify for the play-offs in September. Secondary airings of the program will run on Shaw TV channel four and Delta Cable.

As part of a comprehensive effort to further cater to Portland-area professional soccer fans, the Portland Timbers A-League soccer team announced today that all 28 games during the 2004 season will be broadcast in Spanish for the first time on KRMZ "Romance" AM-1150.

Lynx fans will once again be able to catch great pro soccer action on Rogers Television. Fans can watch the first eight home matches, five of which will be televised live and rest tape delayed, starting with the Home Opener on Sunday, May 16th LIVE at 4:00pm on Rogers Television cable 10 in Toronto and cable 63 in Scarborough.
