SEATTLE, WA -- Comcast Cable, a leader in cable television technology and video on demand programming and the 2005 USL First Division Champion Seattle Sounders today announced the renewal of their partnership to air Sounders home games on Comcast ON DEMAND.
The replays of the 2006 home Sounders matches are offered at no additional charge over the cost of Comcast Digital Cable service, and will be available for viewing within 48 hours after completion of each game.
“We are pleased that Comcast is back for the 2006 season,” said Sounders Assistant General Manager Bart Wiley. “After a great experience in 2005, we look to continue to provide Comcast customers with exclusive access to Seattle Sounders Soccer.”
The first home games available ON DEMAND will be a Major League Soccer exhibition match versus Chivas USA on Sunday, May 7th, followed by the Sounders regular season home opener match against the Minnesota Thunder on Saturday, May 13th.
